Illegal Immigrants And How They Get To America

Illegal immigrants make it into the United States in many different ways. Not all techniques are known although many are and are trying to be prevented. Some of the ways illegal immigrants make it into the country are by entering through without inspection or authorization, and staying after legal entry is up. The technique of staying after legal entry is up is classified as “non-immigrant visa overstayer” or “border crossing card violater”. Which entering through without inspection or authorization is classified as “evaded the immigration inspection and border patrol”. Although these techniques of getting into America and staying illegally has many dangers, such as getting put in jail, being fined money, or even death. Even though there are many terrors and dangers for coming illegally, the illegal immigrants keep coming. Some reasons why illegal immigrants take these chances and come to America illegally are, they cannot get a job back at home, the jobs in America pay better and they need to support their families, as well as they do not have to pay taxes. Even though these people may be coming to America to feed their families, I do not think they have the right to come to our country illegally, they are stealing money from American workers and families. I believe if they really want to go to America they should become citizens first. Some of these techniques to get into the United States require other people to help them. Such as “evaded the immigration inspection and border patrol”, the illegal immigrants either have to sneak over by themselves or risk the dangers of hiring “coyotes”. Coyotes are people who take money to transport people across the country to America. This requires putting their life in the coyotes hands, the coyote could be a secret police, or even could be somebody dangerous. Although there are many ways for illegal immigrants to sneak into America, everyway is taking a risk.
